Honestly, that helped so much more than words can describe. It kept me focused on the goal, which is really saying a lot for me.. 'cause my focus is freakishly short.


Soo... what possessed me to do an ID like this?
For starters, college is coming up... like... really really quickly. I don't have a lot of impressive things to show for myself, so I really need to get working. This self-portrait will probably be going into a portfoilio to prove I can draw realsim and that I'm ready for more challenges.
Another thing: I wanted to draw an ID for myself since the last few have been photos. I love photos. I do. But this seemed more fun.
And finally, I wanted to challenge myself. Life is boring. I sit around. I do the same thing with art. Not today, brother. I wanted to do something that would take me four days to do... and would really force me to look at tiny detail. I swear, about half of my time with this piece?: DETAILS.
